My name is Deanna Prince and I'm so glad you're here! I love home design because I know our homes deeply affect us and I understand that even little changes can make huge differences in how we feel about our homes. I believe that our homes should be a retreat for our families-a place where we can escape, relax, or entertain if we like. My goal is to understand how you prefer to use and live in your home, search for more efficient uses of the square footage, take advantage of your unused space (no matter how small), and improve the flow of it all in order to make your homelife more enjoyable and work better and smarter for your family.

Born and raised in Southern California, I understand that space is limited so I strive to make excellent use of every square foot. I would love to help your dream for your home come true.

What is Chicamiga?

The name Chicamiga came to be because I want to be of help to people who delay remodels or never even start because they feel overwhelmed by the process. I kept thinking "these people need a remodel BFF and I can be that for them!" I truly want to be there for you through the process and help you along the way, in whatever capacity you need-like a remodel girlfriend (in a totally platonic way) not like a "novia" but a "chica amiga".... but when I wrote that out as one word, it transformed into

"Chic Amiga" -which means stylish friend. Basically, a girl who will be your remodel buddy to lean on.
